Lemon Shark (Negaprion brevirostris) is a requiem shark and belongs to the family Carcharhinidae.

Size: average 2.4-3.1 meter (7.9-10.2 ft.);

Depth: 30 meters (100 ft.) or shallower

Habitat: tropical and subtropical waters, insular shelves

Diet: Mainly Bony fish and some crustaceans

Reproduction: Viviparous, gestation period 10-12 months, 1-18 pups

Sexual maturity: around 2.2-2.4 meter (7.3-7.9 ft.); around 12-16 years of age
