Size: average average 9.7 meter (31.82 ft.); max. 18.0 meter (59 ft)
Depth: 50 meters (100 ft.) or shallower
Habitat: open water of tropical seas of 21 °C (70 °F) plus
Diet: Exclusively plankton
Reproduction: Ovoviviparous, gestation period 10-12 months, up to 300 pups
Sexual maturity: around 4.8-5.5 meter (13.77-18.0 ft.); around 30 years of age
Size: average 2.4-3.1 meter (7.9-10.2 ft.);
Depth: 50 meters (100 ft.) or shallower
Habitat: Indo-Pacific, South Africa, Red Sea, Southeast Asia
Diet: Mainly Bony fish and some crustaceans
Reproduction: Oviparous, gestation period 112 days, up to 46 eggs
Sexual maturity: around 1.5-1.8 meter (4.9-5.9 ft.); around 8-10 years of age
Size: average 3.0-3.3 meter (9.8-11 ft.);
Depth: 30 meters (100 ft.) or shallower
Habitat: clear reef environment around oceanic islands
Diet: Bony fish and some cephalodods, other sharks, sea lions
Reproduction: Viviparous, gestation period 10-12 months, 4-16 pups
Sexual maturity: around 2.2-2.4 meter (7.3-7.9 ft.); around 6-9 years of age
